Development Updates: Quest - 2026 Oct 13

We have just created 2 quests and implemented them successfully. With that experience, we could see some room of improvements required and decided to add these sub-features within the Quest:

1. Submission of images (and text) are now shown in the feeds of the quest. Settings of the feeds can be customised like this:

• Secret - The quest feed only shows the number of submissions.
• Private - The quest feed shows who submitted, when, and the decision, but not the content.
• Public - The quest feed shows who submitted, when, the decision and the content. Members can still submit privately if they wish.

2. Quests with a post are no longer opening the post when clicked. The details and submission for the quest are now shown and done within the quest page itself. The related post will still show the quest and it will redirect participants to open the quest page when clicked.

3. Administrator can now review the submissions in its full glory (instead of just a thumbnail and submission status). With that, the administrator can update an “approved” submission to “rejected” or “disqualified” and the rewards, if any, will be removed from the user’s card accordingly. Conversely, “rejected” or “disqualified” submissions can be updated to “approved” when deemed necessary. If a submission is “disqualified”, then no subsequent submission will be allowed from the user regardless of the remaining number of resubmissions set for the quest.

Meanwhile, we continue to improve the quest feature and make it more fun (like setting up quests that have a prerequisite to complete other quests, to only show the result and rewards upon the end of the quest, displaying the quests based on the current stand of the quest using filters, etc).

Try them out and give us some feedback. We would love to hear from you.
